Doing a repair on a job that was installed in December, a week before the company disappeared and left MCS so customer has no MCS certificate. First problem I need to solve is work out which mounting system this is, I thought I knew most of them but haven't seen this one but surely it's not...

Hi, When installing metal wall lights that have an open back and the connections are made using connector blocks, does it comply with the regs to fix them to wood panelling?... I guess not because the connections are not in a fire rated enclosure, but I can't see how else they can be installed...
We have a customer thats ready to go, but isnt keen on the distance the schuco mounting system is away from the roof with the bracket.
What choices have I got for a mounting system which would bring the panels closer to the roof.
Only we have only fitted schuco upto now.

Any ideas anyone, viewed a job today and the guy wants 8 panels fixed horizontally on the south facing wall of his house, we use a standard schletter system, should i try and fit at a slight incline or fit at 90'.
