Trying to post in the general forum and it's coming up ' leave the page' and then ''BLOCKED''. Thoughts appreciated.

Do you know if it's a Cloudflare message or a forum generated message?

It was a Cloudflare. On reply it came up.. 'are you sure you want to leave this page'.....chose 'leave' and Cloudflare blocked. Never seen it before.

I've had a couple of my posts get blocked like that by cloudflare and I narrowed it down to a single, 3-word phrase that was causing it to trigger. I changed one of the words and it posted fine. The phrase that caused the problems was completely innocuous and I never did figure out why it caused problems but the forum staff don't have access to cloudflare settings so it's only Dan could investigate I'm afraid.

I thought it may be something like that. Tried looking for a standout phrase...nothing. Changed odd bits but no difference. Seems it was some sort of blip picking up something hidden. Thanks all... for the time and effort, seems ok now.

I had I need to log in when I tried to post when I already done it re logged in and fine.

You pretty much did what I did but I think I was just more persistent. I copied the entire reply to a word document then tried to post half of it then tried to post half of the half that caused the problems and so on until I narrowed it down to a few words that caused the block to trigger. I remember being surprised about how arbitrary the phrase was and couldn't see any reason it would cause an issue.

It's happened twice to me in six months so I didn't go any further to get it investigated. If it's happening regularly for other members then I'll see if I can get Dan to do something about it.
