Electrical engineer

I would like to become an electrical engineer and i would like to study on-line or take night classes.Is this possible?
Can someone recommend something?

Hi Michael
If you mean "electrical Engineer" opposed to an electrician then you really need an electrical engineering degree (minimum)
preferably from a university that has accredited courses with the IET. This would take quite a while part time!
There is another possibility of an engineering apprenticeship that incorperates day release to obtain an HND.
But I believe that these are few and far between these days.
If you did mean electrician please comment back.

Thanks for the reply,i have a licence as electrician, iam attracted to learn more about electromagnetism,waves,high voltage etc.I know that i can learn these by reading books but would like to have the licence since is useful for my job too.
