Hi chaps.
I recently bought a low mileage 06 combo 1.7cdti
I was wondering if any of you run one and if so how she fairs on fuel.
Cheers

what are you getting? im getting about 38mpg in my 2L caddy sdi

I have a 1.6Hdi Berlingo - this engine is common to quite a few cars and vans I think, averages 46-47mpg and that includes a lot of short runs, the van's usually quite well loaded up too so that's not bad ?

what are you actually getting though? miles divided by L.

the caddy atm is full to bursting with a tripple extender etc ontop

Just quoting the trip computer mate - seems right compared with fuel put in though, I just divide the litres by 4.54 to get gallons, bit old fashioned me. :)

i divide it by L to miles simply because 45mpg is 10miles a L ish

Hum.... Have you got a Volkswagen by any chance. My motors trip computer always shows a higher mpg than calculating it properly!

Thats it, built in component failure is my theory , bit like the service timers on some alarms.:sad3:

thats cause american L and gallons aare different

Why not measure it in yards........like they do ale?

How many miles to the yard instead of yards in a mile.
