Using these lights (wired in parallel) 6 x 2W is ok to use a 12V constant voltage 16W led driver Aurora AU-LED16T. My question is they are a G4 fitting which goes, either way, does the polarity of the bulb cause an issue or do electronics inside take care of this. Many thanks in advance.

Have you tested the lamps with a multimeter to check if they are polarity concious

Do you mean run the multimeter on Ohms and see if there is a reading one way but not the other?

Yes you could do it that way or use the diode test function if your meter has one
