But back home in the UK it the special day for all the fathers on the site, sorry girls if there are any mothers on here, but you had your chance in March.

So dads have the kids made you breakfast yet, did you get the socks, underpants or a a mug with "Bestest Dad" on it, Did the little lady make you feel extra special .................

Well, I was up at 7:15....made my own coffee.....had a cigarette outside.....came back in.....made another coffee.....switched the computer on.....sat down.....then all I heard was.....oh ******* it's fathers day.....quick get up......stomp stomp stomp.....happy fathers day Dad.....oh..... you remembered!!!:happy:


Didn't get any socks though and I think she's just gone out to buy a card now!!!:sifone:

made my coffee, took her indoors a tea, let the pups out for a piddle. just come on here and the only socks i can see is the one the pups are having a tug- of -war with. at least, malcolm, you've probably got sunshine and maybe a public flogging to look forward to in saudi.

woke up at half 6 with the baby fed him went out for a smoke made me own coffee made her in bed a brew she gets up drinks her brew goes to work daughter gets up "dad can i have breakfast" does her breakfast now shes sittin on the settee with her keyboard drivin me nuts while the babys crawling round with his talking clock

havent had 1 happy fathers day yet thats ok wait till mothers day

You're joking mate, I had to make my own cuppa (never mind getting a bit of brekkie); and I've gotta cook my OWN roast pork, whilst the missus goes out shopping and dining with her mother. The daughters only talk to me when they have their hand held out. So its just me and my 2yr old son today.

Got up at 9.30, wife got up at 5.54 and went to work to start at 7am. Got cards, beer, and DVD from son, daughter in law, and daughter. Got Grandad keyring and voucher for local golf shop from my grandkids bless them.

The down side with the wife being at work all day, i have to cook the dinner. The up side i get piece and quite all day till she gets home, i can watch the cricket and golf all afternoon. A visit to the pub may be in order as well.

Well nice to see so a few dads being treated well. Reason I said this is we guys always seem to get stick about us not being romantic or not remembering things.

When I was home last month it was our 32nd wedding anniversary, so I got youngest daughter to get cards and presents for the wife, and arrange a BBQ with our family coming down from London, a few friends, the night before got everything ready with the flowers sneaked in and the morning of it , I got

"What's the the day today, it's the bank holliday isn't it?"

Reply " Yes but also the 30th "

Reply "Oh ..............oh it's our anniversary", so got sweet Football Association.

So guys I think it's not us that forget most times, unless my lass is telling me something.
