Have you tried googling local electricians in your area and asking them?

I get quite a few emails off young lads at college that are after experience, or to be taken on as an apprentice.

It may be worth sending out a well crafted email explaining your position, with your CV attached.

Good luck in your search.

I work for Clarkson Evans, beets 300 apprenticeship, they promised me to work in the price and get more money, but it’s was dream 😴, I can’t survive with 150£ per week , doing lot’s electrical jobs in beginning , but after they give me labour jobs , cut the plasterboard 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.
Still learning and motivated, try to asking one of management, why is pay me nuts 🌰 and they said , 2 weeks notice…

They do plasterboarding? Are you sure they are electricians?

Go for an improver position, not an apprenticeship position. Also don't offer to work for less money, all you do is cheapen yourself and drive down wages in the industry as a whole.

Also your lack of opportunity has nothing to do with your nationality - i tried for years and years to get taken on by someone to no avail. I took the matter into my own hands and got the skills that made me employable. You can do it too - you seem to have a good footing already, you just need to apply for as many jobs as you can.

An ECS card and an IPAF licence will be highly advantageous. 2391 + 18th Edition also.
