Hello guys,
Looks like I am stumped.
I want to fit a new consumer unit but can't seem to find the one that fits the bill.
I would like to fit a DUAL TARIFF SPLIT LOAD FLUSH MOUNTED unit but can't seem to find a unit that ticks all the boxes.
I have 2 old consumer units - an old wylex 6 way for domestic power and an old wylex 4 way for my white meter off peak heating. The main incomer is 100 amps.
I would like to combine both these units and have some spares ways ( say 8/9 domestic and 5 off peak).
As the consumer unit is in a cuboard, which I am removing to be part of my sitting room, I would like to flush mount it for the space and the aesthetics.
I know it will be pricey, but it is needed to move the job on.
I know you guys have a wealth of knowledge so please give me
your thoughts and views.
Thanks for reading

Wylex manufacture bespoke consumer units.

Hager Design 50, can have the lid any RAL colour or finish. Not sure if they do bespoke ones though.

If you've going to the expense of a fairly limited or even a bespoke C.U, you might as well have full RCBO. That'll make them smaller, or release ways, with no double size RCDs.

SBS do a 12 module x 2 (2 rows of din rails) measuring 279w, 465h and 110d. Haven't used one but would imagine that having one rail for normal and one for off peak would be possible
