lol we use to use that term on Van check sheets if after 2 reports it haddent been fixed fleet office too the HUFF when one guy wrote " my van has been ******** for so long Im sending it to the scrappys "
 
I put a sticker on stating the date of inspection and the date of the recommended next inspection, irrespective of the outcome of the test and inspection. the sticker is only there to say when it was tested etc, it is not a sign of good health.

So if you do a PIR and there is a list of code 1 & 2's, and the customer doesn't want you to do any remedial work for what ever reason, what date are you then putting on for the next inspection?
 
In theory you shouldnt be leaving any code ones as the circuit should be isolated and danger notice issued (scheme or hand written) explaining reasons for isolation ie: unable to leave live exposed parts as for puting a date im unsure
