Have any of yous fitted the proteus 4 way 3 phase DB? The horizontal one. The din rail I got with it was very narrow, only the top off of the RCBO clipped onto it. Anyone else had this?

Seen pictures of it, looked promising but - its Proteus!

I know they do both "consumer" 6kA RCBOs and "commercial" 10kA ones but never compared them or checked for compatibility lists for their boards, etc.

Just looked and they say "Units will accept 6kA and 10kA MCBs and DIN Rail mounting HRC fuse carriers" which is promising, though checking CEF site I don't see any fuse carriers. Shame as there are times a fuse for a sub-main would be perfect!

Not a lot of room at the top of the DB for dressing in neutrals and cpcs. Used to Hager myself, first time fitting a proteus

It looks like Proteus is the only brand offering "Type A" single-row TPN boards. So if space limited then its your only choice!

EDIT: I think they do a 10kA "compact" RCBO as well.

The one sided din rail makes it easy to slide out a breaker off the bus bar with the power still on…

I didn’t just say that, did I. 😏

Used a few of these on EV installs They are not the best but good for small spaces not had any issues as in call backs either.

I used to make up type A boards using Hager enclosures and devices but Hager will give no warranty on home made boards even with their own parts,so w,ere stuck with Proteus..
