Hi guys I have resit for 2394 Tuesday. Passed all theory but ran out of time on main part of practical which have to retake. I'm trying to look at the ways I can cut time down. I'm wondering if when testing r1 + r2 it is acceptable practice to just disconnect live conductor and and either terminate into earth bar or clamp link from live to earth bar. Alot of vids and books look at seem to deiconnect live and earth each time this will obviously take more time ? As far as I can see parallel paths shouldn't be a problem when testing like this. Also I am starting to gain some experience testing for firm at moment. An office refurb. Some of the circuits I am testing at moment consist of lights and FCU'S that may be vulnerable to 500 v. Although making sure all lights disconnected from lcms and swith in off spurs there is still room for error with this. As result been testing at 250 and getting readings of greater than 199 my question is really with readings like this can you be hundred percent sure this value is good enough and what value at a 250 v test would raise concerns. Many thanks
