[FONT=arial, sans-serif]Hey!

I have a PSP GO! (Playstation Portable). I'm thinking of buying a replacement battery for mine since it's battery is starting to get old. Apparently, the one I'm going to buy does not come with the little plastic connector at the end of the three cables coming out of the battery!

I have one attached to my old battery right now, of course, so what I'm wondering about is if it is easy for a guy who knows nothing of electronics to switch that plastic connector to the new battery without fear of damaging something?

The replacement battery:

In advance, thanks!

For a beginner its not easy.
Can you do it? Depends on your level of competence.
A smattering of fear is always good to prevent overconfidence.

What are your electronices / electrical skills? Have you, say, replaced a BT point or wired CAT 5 cables?

easiest way would be to cut plug off old one, leaving an inch or so of wires attached. then solder join with heat shrink sleeving.

Well, I've put together several desktop computers and dealt with cables and such a lot, but I've never actually repaired damaged wires or such.

scrounge a bit of telephone/cat5/alarm cable and practice soldering. use a small iron, no more than 25watts. once you have mastered it without melting too much insulation you're good to go to the real stuff.
