Terms & Conditions - customer supplied equipment!

Hi Guys

My existing Terms and conditions state the following:

"12. Equipment and accessories supplied by the client.
--- reserves the right to refuse to fit sub-standard, non-compliant accessories or equipment supplied by the client. Estimates tendered by the company are based on the fitting of standard electrical accessories.
Accessories that require excessive preparation, modification or non standard fitment may incur extra cost to the client."

But I think these need reviewing so have any of you got "better" ones?

I want to "protect" myself from the customer supplying poor or duff equipment and then trying to blame me!

You could state all supplied materials including those that are re used such as customers light fittings and any other equipment are the responsibility of the customer including defects , faults arising from the supplied and existing fittings that require additional labour (i.e. Call Outs) , will be chargeable at the respective rates .... You could add to this , its whats on my T&Cs

How about something that reflects that any downtime on site due to faulty or missing customer supplied materials will be charged extra at a pre arranged rate.
