My beko will not run, it attempts to move in both directions with a belt or not fitted also shows no faults in checking with a meter across its tacho, stator or field as it will not run.
The brushes are a good length of 30/40mm when removed.
Need to bench test to prove if the motor is at fault...
Thanks,
Asking about the capacitor as have read if applicable here, that they can cause a change in the second phase alongside the main phase cycle to distrupt its performance and overheat. ?
Would you consider a single phase Shower Pump Motor operating with a temperature high enough to burn finger tips touching the motor body, to be too high.
Shower pump stopped during shower, checked various things. Fuse ok etc. Although the motor as said by the manufacture to have thermal...
Got a few 4'(1200mm) fluorescent tubes with ballast and starters.
Although the lumen will be lower using LED, I assume the ballast and starter is by-passed.
Also assume to use the SMD range of LED tubes.
thanks
i would have thought the height in my case is not the worry. As already mentioned the air gap between the top of the cubicle and the ceiling is approx. 350mm, as if this may trap more moisture within etc than a cubicle of a great distance to the ceiling being able to vent better.
So I take it...
Thats why I asked the question. Having fitted the existing lamps some 8 years ago, I can remember it being said that due to the positioning of the lamps as I quoted. I should use 12v lights and to a standard I can't remember, but to change a lamp/bulb I have to remove the light from ceiling to...
I have 4 downlights in the bathroom above the shower all are MR11 - 12v 20w.
One is directly central above the shower cubicle and 3 are approx 150mm beyond the perimeter of the cubicle, which I assume these being in Zone 2. The ceiling is approx. 350mm above the top of the cubicle.
I want to...
Thanks all,
Taken the bull by the horns and gone for GU10 LED lamps.
Changed all the holders for GU10 from GU5.3 and dumping the transformers, also all the fittings are now earthed for 230v use.
I would if B&Q showed it, thats why I'm asking for suggestions.
The lights currently were 12v 35w mr16 halogen and a transformer for each. Each transformer rated as 20 - 60va and one already burnt out although 6 leds x 5w is within the capacity of the transformer. The circuit has been altered...
Got a string of 12v led bulbs with a total of 30w which I want to use one transformer.
What size/type of transformer to power these would you suggest.
cheers
