Whilst correctly conducting an insulation resistance test of a radial circuit supply a number of sockets-outlets, an unsatisfactory reading was obtained.
State 3 steps necessary to permit the remaining test to be carried out?
It is necessary to determine the voltage drop of a circuit where the length of the conductors cannot be measured on site and there is no reference information available.
State how the actual voltage drop for the circuit is to be determined.
Determine the actual voltage drop, in volt, if the combined resistance of the line and neutral conductors, at 20 degrees C is 0.45 ohms and the load current is 20A.
Hi Guys,
the cooker circuit is done with 6mm cable and is protected by a 20ma breaker. i use the same size cable to the FSU from FSU i use 2.5mm cable to connect the extractor fan.
Just want to know if this is safe and comply with the regs
can anyone answer the question below.
Calculate from the data below, the earth loop impedance of a radial circuit installed using 2.5mm conductors for line and CPC. show all calculations
Data
Ze 0.15 cable length 25m, conductor resistance 7041mΩ/m
Hi All,
i have my 17th edition exam in two weeks time, the problem being i don't fully understand how to use the regs. any tips on how to use the book quickly?
