Whilst correctly conducting an insulation resistance test of a radial circuit supply a number of sockets-outlets, an unsatisfactory reading was obtained.

State 3 steps necessary to permit the remaining test to be carried out?

circuit is already isolated to carry out the IR test.

1. trace the fault.

2. rectify the fault.

3. perform IR test again to get a satisfactory reading/s.

then you can continue with the next set of tests.
