Hi

I want to add 6 spot lights (two rows of 3) to my kitchen.

It is a new build house and currently just has one light fitting in the centre of the room.

I was in the house as it was being built so I seen what was above the kitchen ceiling.

My question is how do I get the cables to each downlight fitting as the roof/floor joists? Will I have to break a hole through the ceiling at each joist to drill through or is there some gadget that could help me without damaging the roof too much?

I cannot lift the floor above as it is the bathroom and has a tiled floor.

breaking a hole through the ceiling at each joist to drill through is the only way if you can not get above sorry to say
