are there Zone 1 Changes?

Have the regs for Zone 1 changed I was told that there is a max voltage now for zone 1 lighting

I have been told that regs have changed and you not only need IP44 but it must be 12volt
I was just asking as I dont have the latest regs and i thought someone on here could help

the 12v "rule" is a myth put out by a wet-pants showing off his lack of knowledge. 240V is OK as long as it's IPX4
