What is the max a cooker isolator switch can be from the cooker connection unit? And were does it state so in the regs?

Cheers

Murdoch is correct. Its defo a maximum of 2m and should be accessible in case of emergency...

It used to be 2m in the 15th, and you could have 2 cookers on the one switch.
Went out the window with the 16th, and hasn't come back in yet.

I did not think there was a current regulation on this. Recently installed a cooker circuit and the isolator was over two meters away from the CFO, but the isolator was also placed in the only accessible place for it in the kitchen. Co-op came to fit the cooker for the client and refused , stating the isolator was to far away at 2.5m.
