Edmundsons 60%
Electricfix. 30%
TLC the rest for internet orders.

As self employed gotta keep an eye on Eddys prices and moan at them occasionally!
Electric fix I often click and collect as nice and quick.
TLC I wish were up norf also, I like their prices and attitude to service a lot. They also have gear the others don't I find.

Eddies around here at least have the widest range of stock, I can't stand phoning 4 other wholesalers to find they all haven't got something, so Eddies are usually my first call. But TheGayOwl is right you have to keep an eye on them. It's good to spread purchases around them all, let's you know if someone is trying to pull the wool.

This thread is now closed, the poll has been created here: http://www.electriciansforums.co.uk...ctrical-suppliers-electrical-wholesalers.html - feel free to add more electrical suppliers and electrical wholesalers to the new thread, we'll keep this old one closed.

YESSS - 70% of the time.
CEF - 30% of the time.

It was the other way round but as of the last 2 months the more I use yesss they seem to be killing all competition on prices. I have heard its because the head honchos have said they don't mind making a loss their first year... although maybe malicious rumours.

Keep 'em coming lads.

From N.Ireland so both screwfix and Yesss are both quite new over here... recently I have been using both along with Edmundson Electrical (WS Mercer)

1 Screwfix 60% (Quite like them - but keep buying new tools when I go for cable/ switch gear etc lol)

2 WS Mercer 35% - Fast, efficient, reliable, good price & good products

3 Yesss 5%- hmmm,.. slow, poor brands & can be expensive
