Hi diyer here, I'm wanting to add two extra double sockets to my garage / workshop. Currently have two double sockets wired with 4mm t+e with a 16 amp breaker In the consumer unit. It looks like a radial circuit as it doesn't loop back to the consumer unit. Can I just continue the circuit with the extra sockets or am I best leaving to a pro? Thanks

Although it is possible to do what you are suggesting (probably)

It would be far better to get a pro to do the work.
Advantages include,

Suitable insurance for the work undertaken
Will complete the works to the relevant standards
should provide a certificate to show that work is safe and compliant.
will deal with building control (part P) on your behalf, if applicable.

Most importantly, they should test the circuit and ensure that any RCD is operating correctly and within its specifications.
