We all know each site is different and there are so many variants which can affect the time taken to complete a ECIR. But what would you say is an acceptable amount of circuits to be testing per day?

Depends on a lot of things, how long are the circuits, access to the sockets and fittings, is the CU awkward and messy, is it a bungalow on one level or a 4 storey mews house, etc.

I have done 6 circuits in a morning, and then taken a day and half on another job to do 8.

Cheers..............Howard

Too many variables to put a number on it mate, in theory you could have 1 radial with 3000 points.

Thanks for the replies guys. So it's not just me bring unreasonable when rejecting to test 80 circuits a day??

80 circuits a week, more like.

To do everything to a professional level always takes longer than you think, Even simple jobs take much longer to do when small things slow you down e.g a 2 way consumer unit in a garage not labelled and all cables messy and hidden could take a few hours on its own
