what install should be done for integrated kitchen appliances when-
1 socket is unaccessable, ie on the wall behind the backs of the cupboard.
2 not wanting to move the sockets inside of the cupboards.
Should the fuse pop on an appliance getting to it would be very difficult or destructive would not the best install be too take off the plugs attach to flex outlet connected to accessable FCU,s ?

ive seen posters say not to cut of the plugs as that could invalidate warranty but is that the only reason? to me it seems like the best method or am i wrong here?

Let’s face it, if a 13A fuse fails in the appliance plug
the appliance needs to come out for diagnosis and repair.

Fused spur above and trailing socket or socket with no switch seems to be the norm..

Keeper lit st Elmo, I read you've done 2356?

correct just recently
also why does the spur need to be fused? is that assuming more than 1 socket off each spur?
if its just going to 1 socket off the spur is a fused spur still neccessary?

What if applinace starts a bonfire and you cant turn it off, you would want that isolation/ maintenance switch then

i mean why fused over just isolator or does it not matter?
i read from a poster on here that having 2 fuses in-line(FCU fuse and appliance fuse) was wrong reason being discrimination.

instead of a 13A FCU, fit a 20A D/P switch (with or without neon indicator) . only 1 fuse in line then.
