Hi Guys,

I have not been on in ages.

SWA 85m long CSA 50mm x 4 core

At 1 end of cable all phases to each other and neutral >299 and all phases to SWA >299
at the other end I have all phases to each other and neutral >299 and 2 of the phases and neutral to SWA >299 but Brown phase to SWA 10MΩ can anyone advise? I am stumped.......

Yep, i'd go with that possibility too. One of the reasons why you should always cap a cable off, especially if the cable being stored outside in damp conditions....
