My mother in law has just aquired a commercial property with flats above which she plans to rent out, the whole building is on one supply and would like key meters or the like to be fitted to each flat so that the tenants pay as you go. All i can find are coin meters, are key meters readily available or should she speak to the supplier? I have not been to the place so i know nothing of its supply arrangements. I am merely after input so i can go in better prepared

I can only see coin meters again, i assume this is all i will be able to find. Thanks for the link mate, much appreciated.

By the look of it those meters take cards which you supply yourself and are intended for situations such as holiday parks where you buy the cards from the park shop.
If you want the kind of key meter where you top up in paypoint shops you'd need to get the supplier to fit them, then the money comes straight off each individual bill.
Alternatively you could fit coin meters in a communal area and empty them every couple of days, maybe with a CCTV camera in front of them.
