hi i purchased a block of offices and i have converted them into three [2 flats and one masonet] the problem is spe energy says that the three meters must go next to the main head and not in the flats help

generally the meters go by the head, as they say. then each flat would have a supply from it's meter through a switch fuse or similar arrangement, the fuses being selected according the the cables supplying each flat (cable size selected according to each flat's load requirements). One reason for this is that meter reader can access all meters without requiring access to individual flats. ( and of course, supplier can cut off non-payers.).

Yes that is correct, what do you need help with?

They are correct in what they are saying. I cant see the issue, this should have been anticipated during the planning stage.
