New Electrician from Inverness , Scotland

Hello All,

Just introducing myself as i have only recently returned to the Electrical Trade after a number of years away.

I served my time up in Inverness Scotland and under the 15th Edition (Brown Book anyone?!?!) passed my AM2 in Edinburgh at Sighthill college and went on to work as a tradesman for a number of years before drifting away from the trade.

I am now back to it, back at college doing my 17th Edition course, with the same lecturer that took me for the electrical installation uits some 25 years ago!

Returning to the trade to work for myself and also I have just gone through BOSIET / MIST for offshore working, longer term keeping that option open.

I have found the boards very useful whne browsing and hope to make a good contribution if I can.

Cheers lads, trade seems to be drawing me back. Working as a clerk of works for the council on heating jobs in social housing at the mo, nice quick jobs!!
