Does anyone use a ready-made tool for cutting steel Adaptaflex / Copex? If so, where is an affordable place to buy one? Thanks.

The best thing I have found by far is a hacksaw. Make a wooden jig to hold it tightly lengthways with a nice slot in the middle to cut through.

to be honest the steel is that soft, chop through it with hacksaw or use a knife and snips

(is this the completely steel version or steel spiral inside plastic?)

use a hacksaw and cut at 45' angle across 3 rings on adaptorflex, untwist. perfect cut everytime,no need to use snips.

I find a fine toothed blade easier than a coarse one.
bassically 32tpi blade

we usually use 24tpi for everything.

18tpi is best for strut
32tpi is best for tray etc

I use the vice on the hilmor bender and a hacksaw. Or a blunt set of snips

I have Stanley yellow toolbox which comes with a inset groove in the lid... slap it in and junior hacksaw, clean and easy cut everytime....I use loads of it and never need any fancy gear.

In truth, the better your technique,in using a hacksaw, the less fancy jigs you will require. Good quality blades,TPI to suit material type and size, slow start, full strokes in use, control at finish...

Base skills, that i find myself explaining to lads who did their apprenticeship/training,years back....just don't lend em' your best all-hard blades...

I squeeze and twist the Kopex, to open up the spiral where I want to cut.
Then use some tin snips.
Takes about 20 seconds.

That's exactly how I do it, really easy to do with out buying any extra tools. Nice clean cut and I think it's the safest method also.
