Hi,
This is my 1st real post (except for the hello post).
I am currently employed as a deputy engineering manager within a food production factory with nearly 40 guys and 6 apprentices under me.
I have been asked to be the electrical duty holder for the factory, I just want to make sure I have the right qualifications for this, so here goes: -
4 year Apprenticeship (1988-1992) - Auto/Marine Electrician with Lucas Service (C&G 3811 (pt1), 3813 (pt2) and 3816 (pt3) and various practical exams), these qualifications are automotive based.
C&G 2400 (1994) - Design, Erection and Verification of Electrical Installations (although I can only find the practical pass paper)
C&G 2380 (1994) - IEE 16th Regs
BTEC (1997-1998) - HNC Mechanical Engineering (again have all the work etc. but certificate is missing)
Various in-house / manufacturer certificates
Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (2006) - Train the Trainer
C&G 2382-10 (2008) - 17th Regs

Regards,

Andy
