Anyone got any experiance with stone slate roof, im curious to know how you hold the slate back up once removed to install a hook - lead tingles are not strong enough - what do most do about fixing the slate back?
ohh - thats no good mate, its like saying ive got a secret but i cant tell you! try rememberThat's why I said there's something similar in stainless steel. Sadly I can't think of them at the moment.
Have you considered, dare i say it, hanger bolts on the stone flags? Their thickness and strength may be better suited to that method... Just a thought...
Well i'll be more than happy to share my secret with you, just as soon as I can remember it![]()
any of these of any use?

if its a concrete tile then you simply slide the tile up find your rafter feeling the felt . you use a stainless steel hanger that screws into rafter and the tile slides back down over it.
should work ok although you may have problems getting them for tomorrow but good luck anyway, cheers
