"Free" project management type software?

Being a little lazy and a cheap skate here.

Can anyone recommend any software that is free for managing projects or cheap stuff??

I've located Gantt Project which is free and it appears to do what I want. Now trying to plan a project!!

Mine usually go something like this...

1. start
2. drink a coffee
3. discuss weekends sport
4. discuss weekends attempts on females
5. discuss dislike of work
6. oh balls, START your job man!
7. drink another coffee while considering the best way to start
8. oooo look its 5.27pm, best leave this till the morning
9. go to pub, re discuss points 3,4 and 5
10. wake up, get to work, sit down.....now where was i.....
