    Extension

Re: how not to wire your extension Well it is a system that has been used in millions of houses and extensions all over the country for the past 30 odd years. Problems with damp transmission in cavity walls will almost always be down to poor construction methods ie cavitys bridged...

    Extension

Re: how not to wire your extension Dritherm cavity batts are a perfectly acceptable form of insulation. This type of insulation is known as full fill and is a standard building system. There is no need for clips and it wont transmit damp from outside to inside.

    Please review my electrician's work

Looking at all those pics I'd say that the electrics are only half of your worries. The building work is shyte as well. If the work you CAN see is that bad gawd knows what the hidden stuff is like.

    RCD doesnt trip on test.

    customer not willing to pay

What beats me is why any customer needs 30/60/90 days to pay an invoice. Just pay up FFS.

    external shower run

Why not use conduit and singles for the complete run if possible. Save all that fannying about with ip rated boxes and no joints. Also a lot easier to pull singles through conduit as well.
