Cooker cable tails

Can anyone help...... i want to move my consumer unit about 2.5 m from its present position and was wondering if it would be ok to extend the 10mm cooker cable through a 60amp junction box, or would i have to run a new cable from the cu to the cooker?

thats fine as long as you can always get at the junction box

Yes no problems there just done one myself ,using a 60 amp JB ,but as Hawks has said it must be accessible
