I have had a few people on here and off here asking me do I need permission from the business owner to preform a credit check on a business or company?

Just found this:
Business Credit Reports | Check Company Credit Scores | Free Company Search | SmartBusinessReports

Can I look at business credit reports on other companies that are not my own?
Yes. No approval is needed from a business owner to order a business credit report. Unlike personal credit reports which are regulated under permissible purposes only, commercial business credit reports can be ordered as often as you wish.

This information is from
Experian [FONT=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]- so its information you can trust!

Important information - you can not preform a credit check on an

Yes you can have information of any registered business and you do not need any approval for that. A full business report has very confidential information like company's financial and business health. If you are looking for some specific information then perhaps a snapshot report should be enough. You can easily get company reports, I usually use UK credit info for my work.

Hope that will help.
