Hey all, I've got a question about a new apartment I'm getting. I recently had a home inspection done on it and the inspector noted that my panel was double tapped and drawing what might be a little too much power for its rated size.
The apartment is a 700 sqft one bedroom and all appliances are electric (heating, range, hot water, AC, etc...). My question is, what is the normal amperage rating for an apartment like that? My service panel is currently 100 amps which I thought would be enough, but given that all the appliances are electric and some of the breakers are double tapped my inspector mentioned I might want to get a service upgrade done on it. Units are wired individually so upgrading would be mine/the sellers responsibility and would run up about 2500-5000. Do I need to get it done or am I just being overly cautious?
I attached some of the pictures from the inspection report.
