inserting image

can anyone tell me why, when i try to insert image into a post, i get a pop-up asking me to enter the url of the image,it won't allow me to get image from my files

u can right click the image, goto properties and copy the jpg address.
should work!

tried that. properties does not give a jpeg address, just jpeg and file size

Some forum only allows direct URL of the image. They do this to minimize the files added in the forum database.

so, what is the url of an image. where do i find it?

If your really stuck upload it to imageshack.us its free and doesn't need an account.
Then once uploaded copy the direct link it gives you and use that as the URL.

It only takes 2 minutes.
