Hi everyone, I just wanted to say a quick hello and introduce myself. I’ve been a silent observer of the forum for a while now and only just got round to making an account. I really enjoy reading through the threads and learning from the solutions you guys post to people’s electrical related problems.
A bit of background of myself: I left school at 16 and completed an advanced modern apprenticeship in multi-skilled maintenance with an automotive manufacturer. The apprenticeship consisted of domestic/industrial electrical installation, 16th edition, electronics and automation and also mechanical skills such as pipe work, hydraulics, pneumatic etc. I completed the apprenticeship then went on to a bachelors degree in applied engineering.
I’m a true believer in keeping my skills up to date and I am looking at undertaking a C&G 2392-10 Initial inspection and testing course in the near future. Have any of you done this course recently or could anyone recommend anything better/more suited?
