what’s your take on installing basket/tray,I always prefer using trapeze brackets,so cables can be laid in easier.
Obviously if situations happen where you can’t do this, would you upside down the basket ,which in turn makes the installation harder.
Trying to keep other sparkies happy, when they come onto the job.

would you upside down the basket

only if installing in Australia.

Why would you upend the basket.

to tip the shopping out. DOH.

Why would you upend the basket.
I don’t really want to,but there are ceiling heights which stop us from trapeze hanging, tight space,in certain places.

Basket is completely pointless upside down, if there isn’t the height to use it then use an alternative such as tray.
Agree it’s a bit shallower, still need to fix it though, hanging it would still be a problem .

just do the lot in singles in galv. conduit. rewireable if and when.

Yes but it is designed to be used in any orientation, basket is only designed to be used one way up
think it was 1793, Marie Antoinette said the same thing.:D:D:D

Disagree with that, have you never seen basket tray turned the other way up.

I’ve seen both tray and basket installed upside down, but seeing something upside down does not mean that it is how it should be installed.

Surely if you can fit it upside down then it can also be fitted the correct way?

Lol, I've never seen basket installed upside down and wouldn't consider it myself. What void height are you working with ?

I’m confused OP, explain your scenario a bit better. Why can’t you install the basket the right way up?

I think I see your problem OP, instead why don’t you use upside down tray on ceiling?

How are you going to fix it,it also needs space around it,to install cabling.

less than 200mn

What have you got to install?
Just seen what Andy78 has posted This is what I would be looking to install.
