Discuss Napit, NICEIC, Elecsa? in the Certification NICEIC, NAPIT, Stroma, BECSA Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

You don't need Part P compliance for commercial or industrial works as long as there are no living areas attached to the premises, however I have to say that people are getting the message about part p works and signing off but in my experience they have heard about NICEIC although they don't know anything about it. They usually ask are u NIC registered and not Part P compliant.
It is interesting as I've been an niceic QS for 18+ years but now I find myself having to go self employed and have to start up from scratch and trying to justify the fees needed to join.
