Size of uploaded images?

Is there a size limit on jpeg files uploaded? I`m trying to upload a 3MB pic but its just not happening.

Yes there's a limit on attached file sizes and image sizes. Large images like 3Mb cause very slow page-load times and high hosting fees. Use a basic photo program like photoeditor to crop and reduce the size / resolution.

Never knew there was a size limit. everyday's a school day

Or use an external (free) service like PhotoBucket, then the pictures are hosted off-site saving hosting fees and disk space.
