Hi,
Just a quick question can you put a switched fused spur in a bathroom outside the zones 1 & 2.
Cheers

Personally I would put it outside the bathroom for safetys sake.

must be dodgy info here... unless it's selv or pelv... you can't put a sw/fused spur within 3 m of zone 1?...

check regs 701.512.3 and 701.55

I looked at a job the other day the combi boiler was in the bathroom with a switch fused spur next to it. my first reaction was no switch's in a bathroom, but you see towel rails all the time with switch fused spur on them in a bathroom. But then why are fan isolator either pull cord or outside the bathroom.

230v socket outlets are permitted 3m beyond the horizontal outside edge of zone 1. 701.512.3

Switched fused spurs are permitted outside the zones.
