Hey all, I'm looking into a solution for a friend who has a long staircase in an old surgery he has converted to flats and bedsits. Basically from front door onwards he has 2 gang switch plates all wired junction box system with just red, yellow, blue 3 core and cpc at each gang. He wants time lag switches of some sort which don't require a Neutral of course and there are no intermediates on stairs, all just 2 way. switch lines must be all stashed at jb's somewhere.
Questions are does anybody know of any time lags that are 2 gang on a plate ? I'm thinking it's a no and only way will be to take single away and maybe sink in some dual appliance boxes and use 2 x time lags per set of stairs.
and does anybody know if standard lag switches will be alright on just 3 cores ?
