On a flat and has lounge area sockets wired in this rigid type round 3core
at first glance it looks like the real old conduit small stuff but closer look its rigid and i mean rigid like conduit, but cable. just burried under concrete floor and up into sockets. colours 2.5 single core red black and cpc is 1.mm singlecore. never seen this stuff before. im guessing it was the original cable as all set into floor....and coming out of wall into back of old board...

Any ideas....>?

not MICC ( pyro ) is it?

Yeah couldnt get a pick, ALTHOUGH i did get pick from friend which you guys are gonna love...will post asap, anyway. DEFO not pyro...100% and defo not conduit.
The diameter of the outer core i would say was around 12mm each inner core was in own sheath as said 2.5 RD/BLK/ 1mm GRN, PVC. there is no movement within core, all outer sheath is molded around inner cores. out sheath also looks like a black PVC type material but totally rigid (NOT through heat damage)

I've seen this stuff in a block of flats though I think the sheath was orange and some was white, very stiff and rectangular in profile.

Yeah to me this looks like block flat style wiring just laid in pre concreting ...but then again the house is old and this got fairly recent colours.

Out of interest, off topic i know, but in same house i have done a board change new kit circuit, shower, heater, everything apart from this ring wired in weird stuff and the lighting....on a cert would this be classed as New/addition/ an alteration.....

Perhaps like this, there were cast concrete installations that used things like this, "octoflex"
