Hi,

I've been doing my research and read lots on this forum and I've decided to go with Suntech panels, now the question is which ones. We have plenty of roof space so can fit either 16xSTP250S blackperls or 20xPlutoAde-200s. The prices and installer are the same. The roof is nearly east facing, 100 degrees with a 25 degree pitch in Birmingham. My understanding from the datasheets is that the Pluto's as slightly better as they have a lower temperature coefficient for Pmax under normal operating conditions. Is this right? Any advice on which to go for would be appreciated.

Thanks

To be totally honest, I'd go back to the installer and make sure they can source those panels. There is a supply issue with the black pearls so you may be better advised to go for the 200s.

3030kwh versus 3090kwh(pluto) modelled in Sunny explorer so about +2% yield increase p.a

Thanks for the replies.

BiggsSolar, your wer right, both out of stock at the moment.
cjapeterborough, thanks, looks like the pluto's are better then.
kmcgold, lots of companies quote them and recommended them to me.
