Hi can some one tell me how to stop a CFL bulb from flickering when the switch is off.also can someone tell me what is causing the problem.
 
this should stop it flickering.

I found it once to be incorrect polarity to within the rose, just swapped the connections in the holder round

Presuming this was a BC lampholder, you could of just turned the bulb around, in other words it would make sod all difference ;-)
 
It was an Edison screw ecir picked it up customer said they thought that's just what cfl's do!
