    Doubling over conductors in ring circuit

    Was wondering. I haven't been to college for about 3 or 4 years now and I can't seem to remember what they said about doubling over conductors in a ring circuit. So in a ring circuit using 2.5mm twin and earth cable, is it recommended that you double over the conductors before terminating them...

    Is it an exceptable method to double up conductors in a 4 core cable to increase the CSA and then put in a seperate CPC? If so, then as there are no tables for doubled up sizes eg. 5mm, 8mm squared etc, would it just be a case of doing the calcs for the single core size then dividing by 2:confused:
