Doubling over conductors in ring circuit

Was wondering. I haven't been to college for about 3 or 4 years now and I can't seem to remember what they said about doubling over conductors in a ring circuit. Doubling up meter tails

Just wondering what the regulations are on doubling up meter tails? My girlfriends dad wants to convert the garage into a 'granny flat', and I plan on doubling up the connections in the meter to take a new 16mm supply to the garage. Opinions?

Earth doubling up as neutral conductor

Good morning all, I was called out to diagnose a fault with some 2d robus light fittings. What stumped me is...

    Doubling up conductors

Is it an exceptable method to double up conductors in a 4 core cable to increase the CSA and then put in a seperate CPC? If so, then as there are no tables for doubled up sizes eg. 5mm, 8mm squared etc, would it just be a case of doing the calcs for the single core size then dividing by 2:confused:
