Are they the horrible crude pigs of vans that I am led to believe ?
One has come up locally to me of not great age, low mileage, and quite cheap. It would just be for bobbing around my local area, the majority of my work is in a 10 mile radius from base, so performance is not something I'm mad...
Hi guys, had some idiot drive into the side of my Vauxhall vicariously and insurance are writing it off. I'm looking at the Mercedes Vito's for a replacement van on a 2009 plate. What are your thoughts on these vans? Anyone own one and have any comments to share?
Hi -
Currently running T5 T32 Bi-TDI 180 - great van and had transporters for the last 9 years - now need a new van, this one is coming up 3 year old.
Recently VWFS have hiked up the balloon payments to cover the recent the emissions thingy - and quite frankly i can afford the new terms but...

Gone out this morning to this...
Ipod, regs book, wallet, everything is still in the front, the rear has been opened, only thing that has gone...
Hi guys,
I'm looking for a small van, it will have to be an older van less than £1000. Any idea what small vans have a good life in them? I've heard that the renault kangoo is not worth buying if older than 6 or 7 years. I'm looking for a berlingo, or transi connect size. Any ideas would be...
morning chaps.
i'm thinking of getting an ex British gas VW caddy. 30,000miles.
i know next to nothing about motors etc so do people think that this would be a wise purchase??
I've never heard of British gas to be in a hurry to do anything so maybe it hasn't been thrashed around??!!

Hi all
I was involved in traffic accident on Thursday (shunted from behind into car in front) My little Vauxhall Combo is now a lot shorter & will probably be written off. I am looking at Vivaro/Trafic/Trimastar as a replacement. I will obviously need to build racking etc inside but just...
Are any of you using these vans or have in the past. Looking at a 2009 model this week and wanted to know as many good and bad points about them.
Thanks in advance
Just heard on radio that the Police have issued a warning after over over 20 vans have been broken into and had tools stolen in the last week in the Blackpool area. They said that doors have been forced or windows smashed, they believe a gang are targeting the area at the moment.
Just thought it...
It's coming to the end of my relationship with my 52 plate transit.
Over the past year it's had nothing but problems, with the following works done:
Re-sprayed & signwritten
New wings as original were 'too' rusty
Most components replaced on the brakes
Gearbox problems (towed away)
More gearbox...
Just after any reviews from others who have ever owned or driven these vans.
Looked at a 2007 model and to me look like good vans, compact and seemed good to drive. But what are they like once loaded with gear.
Also, whats the MPG like on them.
Thanks in advance
Well I don't (few years before I was born) but in case anybody feels a bit nostalgic....

Just looking at buying a van and currently stuck between a VW Caddy & a Transit Connect. Not sure if I actually need to go bigger than that (doing purely domestic PV & electrical) as I always get the panels delivered direct to site etc.
