25,functional tests are to be carried out to confirm correct operation of the electrical installation

a) describe how an rcd test would be carried out on one socket outlet circuit which is protected by a 32mA rcbo en 61009.

b) state what must be recorded on the schedule of test results on successful completion of the test in a.
 
a. ensure no loads are connected . test RCD at the outgoing terminals, x 1/2 , x1 at 0 and 180, x5 at 0 and 180. test with test button.


b. record the higher of the 2 values of the x1 tests.

The schedule of test results now includes a column for the x5 test as well.

mine do as well, but i ain't got the green OSG yet. was painful enough getting the bgb. LOL.

I saw that and thought, no it doesn't, then I looked at my test sheets that I designed myself and I have the x5 column in there!, Hmm.. maybe I should pay more attention to what I am filing in on these sheets!!

Here's a bit of a pointer to those who are/maybe going to do any of 2391,2394,2395. If you want an easy reminder or prompt for carrying out the practical assessment when you freeze looking at the test rig, then look at the generic schedule of test results that you will be given, the test sequence is laid out on the model form in the correct order.
