Advertising- Google Adwords

Hi, trying a bit of advertising to drum up some extra work. Have done all the usual free listings etc. Have put an advert on gumtree and also signed up to Google Adwords. Do any people use this and how much joy have you had with it?RegardsDan

If you are doing adwords then make sure your add is relevant to the phrase you are bidding on, so if you want your add to show for "Birmingham Electrician" then you should have Birmingham Electrician in your title and in the copy of your add. The more relevant your add is to the phrase you are bidding on the less you will pay for your add to appear in a higher position.
Be warned though adwords can burn a hole in your pocket if you are not careful.
