Does anyone recognise what this is?

photocell? Can’t get upto it unfortunately but it’s a 3 core that runs to it as able to see Cable going out from the loft space

Looks like a photocell, if it were smaller it may be for a temperature sensor as some storage heater control had external sensors that brought the heating on early of the temperature dropped outside
